Program Overview:
The Microsoft Student Partner Program recognizes top young minds from around the world that are passionate about technology. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to develop real-world skills to help you succeed in your future career, to help others learn about the technology of today and tomorrow, and to connect with other like-minded students, all whilst having a ton of fun along the way. The tenure is for 1 academic year and can be renewed by the MSP India Team if the MSP has acceptable performance and continues to meet the eligibility criteria.

What is a Microsoft Student Partner?
The ‘ideal candidate’ would be a passionate and enthusiast individual who wants to learn about new tools and technologies. You would need to have a whole range of skills including excellent time management, organization and communication skills to ensure that you could host successful campus events. An MSP should be comfortable and confident presenting in front of large audiences of both students and faculty members. General marketing skills come in very handy in order to allow you to articulate your ideas effectively when presenting. MSPs are social, friendly and approachable individuals who like to meet new people. You will require the ability work as a team as well as use your own initiative. In summary, MSPs are innovative and creative students who are extremely passionate about technology and who like to help others.


MSP Benefits:

MSP benefits such as Welcome Kit (T-Shirt & ID Card) will be dispatched after you successfully complete the probation.
     
MSDN subscription will be activated in March 2013 if you successfully complete the probation.It comes with over more than 11 Terabyte of Microsoft Software free for Download & with Genuine Keys to most of them.
·The annual MSP BootCamp will most likely be held in September 2013 and invitations are based on performance till 30th June 2013.

Opera Campus Crew

Are you passionate about bringing Opera and Web standards to your campus? Starting today, you can sign up to be part of our Campus Crew program, and become part of the team of Opera reps at schools and universities around the world!
As a member of the Opera Campus Crew you can organise events with Opera and for Web enthusiasts on your campus, lobby your school or university to adopt Web standards, encourage computer labs to install Opera, speak to people about their attitudes toward browsers and the Web, demonstrate Opera, and work with campus media.

Joining the Campus Crew is an opportunity to earn freebies and win prizes, receive an endorsement on your CV from Opera Software, gain new skills, learn more about Opera and the Web (and help others do so, too!), and meet new people from all over your campus, country and the world.
Opera is different from other campus rep programs in that you don’t simply promote our products – you make the Web a better place by driving Web standards and accessibility, introducing mobile browsing to people who may not otherwise be able to access the Web, and providing forums to discuss key trends and issues in the Web.
After you register and are accepted to become a member of the Opera Campus Crew, you will be sent a ‘Get Started Guide’. This includes more information about the activities of Crew members, and how to go about doing them.
